HOW TO EDIT PHOTOS IN LIGHTROOM MOBILE AND A GLIMPSE OF SURPRISE

In my previous B/VLOG, I mentioned that I bought a new phone, Samsung Galaxy A51, which I used in taking photos. I posted those unfiltered photos in that vlog so that they could be seen firsthand how they look straight from the camera. To add a little spice to my photos, I’m going to share to you now how I edit those photos. Well, I love editing my pics not just to enhance them visually, but also because I find this activity relaxing. So here’s my video on how I edit my photos.

VINTAGE

I like editing using the vintage style effect. The vibrant colors become desaturated and the warmth in the pics become subdued like faded golden sunshine. And the finishing touches of GRAIN and NOISE make the photo resemble the films of yesteryears. How I use this preset depends on my mood, the environment and my outfit, haha!

NATURAL

This simple edit enhances the colors and brightness to make the photos look vibrant, lively and appealing. I usually use this edit for the photos in my blog especially landscape and nature photos.

MODERN

The modern edit is my current favorite. I love to play with the hues and light . I am inspired to achieve this kind of edit by instagrammers’ and influencers’ photos I usually see on their social media.

One way to cope with my fears and anxieties is editing pictures, an activity which I truly love. I find it relaxing and enjoyable when I change the hues from bright to faded or when I change the colors entirely. I’m not a pro nor a photography expert. I just like to take photos, edit them and share them on my blog. As long as what I do is pleasantly aesthetic and gives me satisfaction, it’s good to go. These edits usually work well in broad daylight, in the beach, in the mountains or in the street. They may not suit your desired image instantly, so just try to play around in lightroom mobile. I tell you, it’s fun editing there.

Before ending this blog, I would like to share with you this news. Last October 5, 2020, I was informed that I was one of the finalists in BCBA under photo blog category. My co-finalists were really amazing bloggers. For sure, I could not surpass their brilliance. But the fact that I belonged to the group of finalists made me feel ecstatic, yehee! The day of the announcement of winners came. My co-finalist, VIVOMIGSGEE.COM bagged the victory of the Best Cebu Photo Blogger 2020. Another finalist, BISAYATRAVELER.COM, got the Creative Writer Award. As I continued scrolling the announcement article, I noticed a familiar face. It was me, lol! Modesty aside, I didn’t go home empty-handed, for I received the Founder’s Choice Award. I was surprised and happy that I was still part of BCBA 2020 winners.
