One time as I was scrolling the news feed in my Facebook, one caption of a photo shared in a travel page group caught my eye. The caption stated, “Sabi ko sa boss ko na may aasikasuhin lang ako sa SSS pero hindi ko sinabi saan.” 🤣(I told my Boss that I have some things to attend to in SSS but I didn’t say where.)
The woman’s background in the photo was the building of the SSS and underneath the acronym of SSS is a word of a place, CAMIGUIN. I find this hilarious. WHY? There may be a little truth in it. She may have made transaction with SSS, but for sure travelling for fun was the real intention. And that SSS thing was just a sidetrack! And that’s when a lightbulb moment sparked in me! I’m planning to get my booster shot. So, I told my head that I was going to get my booster shot, but I didn’t say where. HA-HA!🤣
So off to Bantayaaaaaan Island!
My plan of getting a shot almost came to naught after hearing from my mom that there was no vaccination schedule for boosters at that time. However, she verified from somebody and she was informed that there was actually vaccination for booster shot at CTU Campus. To make the story short, I got my booster shot and the process was completed in just about 30 minutes. And guess what? Eventually, I had plenty of time to enjoy BANTAYAAAAN, in case no side effects will occur. HAHA! Well, in my case, it was just a slight fever and arm muscle sore. Soooo, to the beeeaach, HA-HA!🤣

Side drama — just scroll if you don’t like to read, HA-HA!
Finally I got the chance to rest this jaded body from all the stress I garnered from work and the trauma caused by typhoon Odette, savored the fresh and healthy foods from always ingesting this body with toxics whenever I’m in the city, HA-HA 🤣 lol and of course be with my family again in my home my island paradise Bantayan Island. I really need a miracle to give me the courage to leave work 🥺 and stay in this island for good for there is truly no place like home🥺. Even though water did not flow from the faucet because the electric water pump was out of order, and I had to manually get water from a well 14 meters deep by pulling the pail using a rope and pulley, I did not mind this as long as I am at home. That’s why I’m praying to be here in Bantayan for gooooood (please universe)🥺 so that I can always visit the beaches of Santa Fe and be surrounded by the warm affection of my family. I simply want to chase my dreams even though I don’t exactly know what it is rather than just get stuck and rot in the office!🥺 It’s hard to be just surviving and also hard to take risks… HUHU! So much for my drama. Just sharing my everyday ordeal… HA-HA!🤣 I definitely need an escape from this madness. BLAH BLAH BLAH! 👉🙄👈

Anyhoo, this post may be irrelevant to some, since my stories may not have any connection to what’s happening around this planet, HA-HA!🤣
I would just like to share this article of mine if ever someone’s reading here, (Hellooo, anybody here?) If ever someone’s reading this, I would just like to share that I got another list that was ticked off from my bucket list. And if you also would like to cross out this one in your bucket list, then you should pack up and travel to BANTAYAN ISLAND.
I would like to share my first experience in SUP or STAND UP PADDLE.

When my family went to the beach, my Kuya and Ate Jai rented a paddle board near YOONEK BEACH at 450.00 pesos per hour. Both of them are experts in paddling for they are members of the DRAGON BOAT TEAM. They had competed several times and even won in dragon boat competitions. These were the reasons why I had the courage to try the SUP because they were with me to share their knowledge and to provide the needed guidance regarding this thing. One at a time, my nieces, sisters and I tried the SUP. We were all first timers and look at their faces. One was confident enough to stand and paddle. Another one was so scared that she was almost in the verge of crying! HAHAHA! (Sorry, Porkchop 🤣…)
For me, doing something for the first time was one hell of a roller coaster of emotions — from fear and anxiety of losing balance on the board and getting hit on the board and falling to the sea , then to happiness and enjoyment of gliding on the surface of the placid sea. I was finally experiencing joy as I balanced myself on the paddle board even if I didn’t know how to maneuver for I kept on circling around as I paddled. LOL!
And look at the magnificent view of the setting sun in timing to my paddling around. The clouds formed into what looked like a wing of an angel or a butterfly.
I, therefore, am PARO-PARO G. HAHAHA!

Well, I’ll make another blog more about SUP if my laziness to write won’t hamper my way. So stay tuned.
YES, I was “stood up” in Bantayan because I did STAND UP PADDLE! LOOOOL haha, what a corny and lame joke! But that’s me, LAME in bisaya! LAME! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH….Just kidding. 🤣

Hahaha! Hindi pala SSS sa East Ave. Hilarious indeed! I enjoyed reading this post and your pictures are lovely. I laughed watching your vlog too! Ang sarap ng pusit. The dogs in your vlog look fierce. I have dog phobia and I’d panic if I’d see them on the beach without a leash. 🙂

Awww ❤️. Thank you so much for appreciating my photos and vlog. It means a lot to me. And yes nakakatakot nga minsan pag maraming aso sa beach at ang bilis nilang pupunta sayo pag may dala kang pagkain. HAHAHA
