When it Rains, When it Shines
As the sky splattered its big tears on the ground, as the thunder rumbled its loud roar of anguish, as the lightning flashed its furious light, as the wind raged harder and harder producing a cacophony together with the gloomy and abhorrent sight of the dark grey skies, I perceived them all as they accompanied the emotions inside me.
My pessimistic attitude dominated my being once again. I may not be okay, I may not be all right but I know this feeling will just pass as I move forward. The sun may be gone for a while but it will always come back after the storm. It will come back with effulgent and radiant light above the calm and cerulean skies making the day glorious and bringing a life of optimism and positivity. And when the sun rises, I’ll celebrate by means of wander lusting again! WOHOO!
(I apologize for my dramatic intro. Yeah, it has been a hell of a week that bad weather occurred in our place, but it is still something to be thanked for… at least our flora family is in bliss!)
Finally, the sun came out showing its brilliance. I was so grateful, so grateful that at last the weather was fine. With this fine weather, I went home again in Bantayan Island and I just couldn’t resist the desire to jaunt in this beautiful island. This time my friend and I went out to enjoy while viewing the beautiful beaches of Santa Fe. What we did was bask under the sun, feeling the fine sand with our toes, listening to the mystical waves of the ocean and of course taking some photos to serve as memorabilia.
While strolling around, we saw this lovely dog wading and playing in the sea. Oh, how I envy this lively-spirited animal free of all the worries of the world.

I am just thankful for the storm because I have realized something. Storm will always pass in our lives instead of complaining I must live with it and deal with it. I don’t just wait for the sun to come out I must find a moment in every storm. Just like what I quoted from Vivian Greene “Life is not waiting for the storm to pass it’s about learning to dance in the rain”

Those naughty potatoes roll so fast that I could hardly catch up with them in BANTAYAN ISLAND. I wonder what place will they be venturing next. So stay tuned for my next chasing potato adventure.
The photos are so fresh and beautiful!

To live a happy life requires balance. It is hard work because we are never taught what efforts need to be made to achieve this goal. It’s about personal growth and development. Those willing to learn and apply these tenets appreciate the value of life. When we are young, life is a given. Mortality is a word with little true meaning. As we age, life sometimes seems cruel. This is experienced most frequently by those that take their bodies for granted. Poor lifestyle choices accumulate and create (for many) self imposed prisons we are forced to live out our lives. Those that successfully achieve physical, mental and spiritual balance often live purposeful lives filled with passion. The choice becomes the individuals. Hoping you choose a life that fulfills your dreams.

Wow these pictures are beautiful. I love shooting by the sea, photos always end up so stunning. My favourite pic is the one where you’re holding the sunflower away from you, the yellow pops so nicely.
I hope your week ahead treats you well ❤

These photos are just absolutely beautiful. I would love to be on a sunny beach like this right now. However, I am also really enjoying the crisp fall air as well! I think our bodies are very in-tune with the weather and our emotions go right along with it. It’s so natural to feel gloomy and sad when the heavens are also crying. But everything is s cycle and the sun comes out again, as do the positive vibes!

Can’t agree more on the quote “life is not waiting for the storm to pass; it’s about learning to dance in the rain”. Hope the storm inside you subsides soon. I too am experiencing some kind of a storm in my professional life and I hope it’ll clear soon. Good luck to you. 🙂
