Celebrating Christmas With A Cup of Coffee Only

I celebrated my Christmas 2017 away from home, no opening of gifts during midnight, no noche buena but just a bunch of friends shivering with cold in this December breeze and seeing only the blanket of fog at the top of Mt. Kan-irag ( Sirao Peak ).

Fortunately at exactly midnight the fog cleared, and the whole scenery of Cebu City and the nearby cities shone with colourful and dazzling lights dancing in harmony. Christmas has come! Even though I didn’t experience my usual celebration, I was still delighted. For the first time in my life I reached another milestone and that is camping during Christmas.

When morning came, what I had was just an instant coffee. Drinking coffee at the top of the mountain is one my fave things to do when camping. This was just one great way to start the day while viewing the breathtakingly beautiful scenery in Sirao. It was great. Everything was perfect. I guess what I experienced right now is one of the best gifts I ever received this Christmas.

I would like to thank AJ, Alton, Joseph and Tim for my company during this time. You guys are awesome.

I apologize in advance if this vlog is ridiculously awkward. I’m not really good in speaking. It is sort of awkward. If I speak in English, my accent is bad. Haha!!! Again, I apologize …

PS… Sometimes in my life I want to try something different. I am an introvert but this time I went out of my shell and viola, I did this to strangers I met on the road. Haha!

PS Again… Thanks AJ for the strawberry ice cream treat. ☺

Those naughty potatoes roll so fast that I could hardly catch up with them SIRAO PEAK. I wonder what place will they be venturing next. So stay tuned for my next chasing potato adventure.

Chasing Potatoes

Why Chasing Potatoes? I’m Chasing Potatoes. I chase time and opportunities because just like round potatoes they roll and get lost. I chase them to store memories to last a lifetime. I make haste, running after them, fearful that they might be gone. That’s why I go places on land or in water. My story tells about the journey of chasing time and saying yes to wonderful opportunities.
