After attending an insightful HR symposium at the PICC, my colleagues and I got hungry, especially after all that learning! Whew! 😅 One of them told us about their experience at The Orange Bucket, which totally got us curious and even hungrier, lol! 😂 So, we thought, why not give it a shot—though, I gotta admit, it felt pricey for a broke person like me, haha. 💸 We made our way to DoubleDragon Plaza, placed our orders, and crossed our fingers, thinking, “I hope this is worth the splurge!” 🤞🍽️
Aesthetic Ambiance and Fun Interior
When we walked into The Orange Bucket, I was totally impressed by the decor, especially the giant bucket by the entrance, perfect for a fun pic 📸—such a cool way to kick things off! The lights were designed with orange bucket shades, giving the place a quirky, laid-back vibe, while the wooden tables and chairs added a modern yet chill touch. I even noticed a “bugsay” (paddle) on the wall, which looked pretty stylish.

After we ordered, the crew set down a big white plastic mat on the table for the seafood to be spread out. 🦞 We ditched the utensils and went for plastic gloves instead—way more fun! HAHA! Plus, they hooked us up with bib-like coverings 😂 to keep us safe from any sauce splashes, adding to the fun of the meal!
A Seafood Feast: Finally Trying Lobster
Even though my colleagues and I live on an island, none of us had ever tried lobster before—hahaha! 🦞 Naturally, we went for the bucket set with lobster. Tasting lobster for the first time was a new experience for my palate—it had a unique flavor, almost like a blend of crab 🦀 and shrimp 🍤. I was so excited to dig in that I cheated on my low-carb diet, hahaha! 🤭 This bucket of seafood obviously included the sauce, potatoes 🥔, and corn 🌽, which are loaded with carbs, but bahala na—this was a rare chance for me to be in Manila, nyahahaha! 😆✈️

What’s in the Bucket? A Seafood Feast
The bucket we got was loaded with all sorts of seafood goodies! 🦞🦐Yeah, lobster was the big deal, but that’s not all we had! There were shrimp, mussels, scallops, lemon wedges, potatoes🥔 and corn 🌽, all mixed up in this drool-worthy sauce. We went for the spicy version of the sauce, and wow, did that give it a nice kick! 🌶️ (But don’t worry, it wasn’t too spicy—just enough to keep it exciting, haha. Sadly, though, there wasn’t an extra dipping sauce available. I was hoping for one, like in those mukbangs where you can slurp up every last drop of sauce. 😢 Anyhoo, each bite was still bursting with intense, delicious flavors. 🤤

This amazing mix made every scoop from the bucket a flavorful taste of the ocean—perfect for sharing and enjoying with friends! 🥳
A Sauce So Good, It Was Table-Licking Worthy
The lobster was awesome, but the sauce totally stole the show. It was so good that I joked about licking the table to get every last bit! Too bad there was no extra sauce, which definitely left us craving more.

Location: Where to Find Orange Bucket
Orange Bucket has several branches, but we chose to visit their location at DoubleDragon Plaza in Pasay City. It’s a convenient spot, especially if you’re coming from an event or seminar at the nearby PICC. The plaza itself has plenty of dining options, but the unique experience and seafood feast at Orange Bucket made it an easy choice for us.

Menu Variety: More Than Just Seafood
While seafood is the main attraction at Orange Bucket, there are plenty of other options on the menu for those who may have seafood allergies or just want something different. From hearty meat dishes to flavorful pastas and appetizers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. So even if seafood isn’t your thing, you won’t miss out on a satisfying meal!
